Working with Nobel Laureate Prof. Aaron Ciechanover

Aaron Ciechanover, distinguished Professor at the Israel Institute of Technology, won the Nobel Prize in Chemistry in 2004 for characterizing the method that cells use to degrade and recycle proteins using ubiquitin. Now he is opening different research institutes in China and he requested Prof. Mario Lanza to provide advise and support on Chinese academic system and Chinese research environment. Prof. Ciechanover specially valued Prof. Lanza’s experience working in China for more than eight years, his ability to raise abundant funding from national and provincial agencies, and his unique talent to communicate with Chinese students using mandarin language. Prof. Lanza is enjoying a lot the opportunity to learn closely from such an expert professor.
